Pharma & Diagnostic Collaborations
Altogether, Source MDx has worked with more than 30 major pharmaceutical firms on over 150 preclinical projects and clinical trials that have involved over 5,000 human subjects. This represents a breadth of experience and knowledge in clinical management (sites, samples and data), laboratory processes management (guided by standard operating procedures and quality control metrics), as well as data management (including automated data handling and statistical analysis). A sampling of Source MDx's clinical programs includes:
- Cancer: Breast, Prostate, Lung, Colon, Melanoma, Bladder, Pancreatic, Cervical and Ovarian
- Autoimmune: Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Transplant Rejection, Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease
- Infectious disease: Sepsis, Hepatitis C, Pneumonia, Chronic Bronchitis, Immunosuppression, Systemic Inflammatory Respiratory Syndrome and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
- Cardiovascular: Coronary Heart Disease and Atherosclerosis
- Other Inflammatory Diseases: Eye diseases, Diabetes and Pulmonary diseases
As a result of this deep history of success with pharmaceutical partners, Source MDx is working toward partnerships with diagnostic companies in order to commercialize molecular diagnostic tests for the detection, discrimination and progression of disease. Furthermore, Source MDx intends to establish key strategic partnerships collectively with pharmaceutical and diagnostic partners to commercialize FDA approved companion diagnostic tests for targeted therapeutics. Source MDx's molecular diagnostic system, coupled with its access to patient populations through collaborations with major medical centers, makes the company an ideal partner for creating a pipeline of molecular diagnostic tests in multiple disease or therapeutic areas. These diagnostic tests can feed into a portfolio of products that will follow a path towards commercialization of FDA approved molecular diagnostic tests. |
